Our primairy charity is Upendo Children’s Centre in Kenya. Upendo Children’s Centre is an orphanage for abused, abandoned and orphaned children ages 7 months through 16 years of age in Nyeri, Kenya. Kenya has recently been the scene of election fraud and terrible violence; resulting in 1500 deaths and leaving 600 000 people homeless.

The money raised by auctioning our car and an additional €700 will be used to support a drinking water well project in Fatoto, Gambia. Fatoto has 1700 inhabitants and there is no source or supply of drinking water in the village. Fatoto is a village in the district Kantora in the Upper River Division in the east of Gambia.

We will be supported by the Salvaged Tool foundation (stichting Gered Gereedschap). They will supply us with tools; which we will deliver to the Gambia Technical Training Institute -GTTI . This is the only technical school in Gambia.
